Getting us connected….

Okay…so I have this idea…and little project maybe…and was hoping for some help from my new and old friends…friends I met blogging…and friends on FB.  As most of you may know…I am enjoying blogging so much…and the fact that I am helping people all over the globe is inspirational to me…knowing that there are mamas and daddys out there…and that they are able to get in touch with me…via comment on my blog…on my FB page…through youtube video..or my email…makes me so thrilled that I am able to pay it forward.

So if you guys can each send a link to my blog to five friends…and ask them to send to five friends…and they pass on to five friends etc, etc,,,…I am hoping to really share what I know with more people in need. I love when I have a blog comment from someone who is far from here…and lacks the resources (well that part I do not like)…and that I can then help them to help their little one…pretty awesome….

I plan to keep track on how many connections we can make…as we all are connected in some way…so please ask your friends to post a comment and say where they are from…and I will keep track of how we are all connected…reminding me of one of my favorite new shows: Touch…and learning how we all really are connected in this lifetime…and in reading Temple Grandins book: Thinking in Pictures…specific to her last chapters in the books talking about energy and connections…brings it all together for me.

And friends if you have not become a follower of my blog…please do so…and send a comment as to where you are from and how you found me. I will start a link on the side called: Connections so that I can keep track.

Thank you!

About Kim

My name is Kim Marino and I have been practicing as a licensed speech and language pathologist since 1993. I work on Long Island providing diagnostic evaluations and services to children from birth to age 21. My experience is vast and am proud to say that I work with children that may present with articulation and phonological concerns, oral motor feeding concerns, Down Syndrome feeding, cognitive rehabilitation, auditory processing delays, receptive language delays, cleft palate feeding and sound development and expressive language delays. Most importantly, I am the mother of four amazing children and am happily married to my childhood sweetheart. I feel blessed to have my four children and so lucky to share this journey in life with my husband. I always had it somewhere in my head that I wanted to develop a blog or a website of some sort so that I could provide families with an additional that parents could help their little ones become a better communicator. And as I was developing this blog....I realized that I also needed to share the stories about my life and my children....and the funny things along the way that help to keep me smiling. Whether you are a working mother or not...finding balance between home, children and life can be a challenge....I hope that my blog helps to bring a smile to your face..and also some tools to help you help your little or big one. I hope you enjoy! Kim
