I also wanted to say…when playing with Play 2 Learn…it is also fun to see if your little one can guess what she hears without looking at the screen. This makes the game more challenging, however, does stimulate lots of language between you and your little one. Remember the game’s inspiration comes from a young woman I work with, Lauren Cummins. She is blind in both eyes…and last year when working with her I felt frustrated that there were no apps for her……now even though she can not see the pictures….she LOVES listening to the sounds…and trying to guess what she hears. Lauren also presents with word retrieval concerns….so playing this game also addresses her ability to retrieve words and to define words.
